Hancock was involved in developing the initial design of reinforced concrete Pipe Arch (RCP-A) culverts for use in the State of Minnesota and has been manufacturing precast concrete Pipe Arch culverts since 1960.

With superior strength and durability of precast concrete, precast Pipe Arch culverts provide a versatile and economic alternative to the cast-in-place concrete bridge. With spans available up to 169 inches, and the ability to be installed in single or multi-line configurations, almost any requirement can be met. Compared to cast-in-place culverts orbridges, precast Pipe Arch culverts are much quicker to install, usually requiring no more than 3 to 4 days from start to finish.
