Hancock, MN – Hancock Concrete Products, LLC, a leading manufacturer of precast concrete pipe, box culverts, manhole structures, and retaining walls, today announced the acquisition of the Hanson Pipe & Precast plant in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. With a strong local economy, the Sioux Falls area provides an attractive business setting for Hancock Concrete.

“This purchase aligns well with our growth strategy and long range vision,” says Rob Schmidgall, President of Hancock Concrete. “The additional facility will also help us restore some production capacity lost after a fire at our Lake View, Iowa plant.”

From the Sioux Falls plant, Hanson has built high standards for supplying quality concrete products for its customers in the Midwest. Hancock Concrete is excited to work with the plant’s employees to expand on the positive accomplishments.

“Local management has certainly built a strong, talented team,” says Schmidgall. “We are excited to welcome all of the Sioux Falls employees to Hancock Concrete.”
